The Work of Water

Maybe It's Fate gallery · October 23, 2026 – October 30, 2026

Susan Brinkhurst's exhibition, The Work of Water, is inspired by the slow work of water reshaping the landscape due to beaver dam construction and the artist's perceived similarity to the repetitive physical and often instinctual domestic labor produced by women. Susan Brinkhurst is a 2026 Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest Artist-in-Residence.
